no words, just emotions

Unbelievable in Omaha. Fresno State pulled it off… hopefully people took notice of their incredible run. They had to win their own conference tournament just to make it into the regionals for the College World Series, then go on to eliminate powerhouse college baseball programs one after another.

I caught the Fresno Fever early on; I feel like I know their entire roster now. Justin Wilson pitched lights out, and OF Steve Detwiler took care of all their offense. However, my favorite player is still their 3B Tommy Mendonca who made crazy defensive plays throughout the month of June.

Fresno State coach Mike Batesole did a hell of a job… piecing this thing together from start to finish. Congrats!
